Y’know, everything else aside it is profoundly inappropriate for rideshare contractors to be driving unaccompanied minors. They are not background checked at all the same way taxi drivers need to be. I’m kind of shocked uber allows it and that drivers feel comfortable with it. Obviously first and foremost this is an incredibly irresponsible (and dangerous to society) parent but holy shit, a rideshare corporation go ahead is not adequate for a kid to get into a strangers car.
