I was about to ask what the nationality of the crane had to do with anything but then I remembered it’s 2024 and this is America. I had a sad instead.
Nevertheless! Largest crane on the US Eastern seaboard! Pretty nifty. Can only lift 1,000 tons tho, with about 3,000 or 4,000 tons of brodge balanced across the back of the Dali. They have to cut away debris and not spill (or ignite) the hazmat onboard, which sounds like it’s basically paint thinner, in part.
Glad I’m not the risk &compliance guy on this job. Yikes.
