That relies on the government being willing to lend. Too many politicians in the US are now on the Kremlin’s bankroll, so they’ve been scuttling attempts to provide aid.

If I’m putin (a disgusting thought but empathy is what it is), the only reason I’d maintain some semblance of confidence at this point would be because I have infiltrated high levels of the US government.

It seems quite clear many Republicans are under Kremlin payroll in one form or another. The only way his tune changes is if Dems somehow swept everything in November.

On the other hand he knows if he gets Trump back in, he’s free.
