Israel caught out for using MOLDOVA footage in Gaza aid tweet

THE official X/Twitter account of Israel has been called out for using stock footage of Moldova in a video about providing aid to Gaza.

On February 4, the official Israel account shared a video detailing Israel’s provision of “life-saving humanitarian aid” into Gaza.

However while the narrator of the video states that Israel has provided “approximately 23,000 tons of tents and shelter equipment”, the accompanying footage of tents was not filmed in Gaza.

According to BBC disinformation reporter Shayan Sardarizadeh, the footage shown is actually of a camp in Moldova set up for Ukrainian refugees in 2022.

Coincidentally this also broke regarding the “humanitarian aid only helps Hamas” line today - why does the Israeli government keep lying about food, water, or shelter the world is trying to provide to displaced Palestinians?

Not entirely sure, this article says 8820 trucks but that’s only Egypt crossing, (which is still by far the biggest one.)

It also says only 87,670 Tonnes of food were delivered through Egypt, far under 140.000. I doubt the air drops were more than a few tonnes so that seems like a massive lie too.

The claim that israel is facilitating is most definitely fake, israel is actively blocking aid to kill all Palestinians with starvation. they are not facilitating anything.

Recently an aid truck with flour got held up by israel. There are now numerous reports coming in of people in Gaza actually having been killed by israel with starvation.

And the last line is the biggest lie of them all. Their goal is undeniably the Genocide of all Palestinians

Thank you for your detailed reply. I just want to add that offering aid to a population that you are oppressing is a tried and true method of undermining a resistance movement. The left hand feeds and clothes some while the right hand crushes and destroys and brings about the need for the support of the left hand policies.
