Yes, it was some time ago but all the problems were already there and Democrats chose to pussy foot around looking for weak, bi-partisan deals instead of addressing them. That they did very little even when they had full control was exactly why people didn’t go out to vote for Hilary. It’s not that Democrats can’t do anything because they don’t have full control. They don’t have full control exactly because they don’t do anything.
