You want proper patriotism, this is it. Celebrating more liberty, and hoping for even more still. Also a fitting commemoration of the Civil War, because as the old saw goes:
First, you learn the Civil War was about slavery.
Then, you learn it had many causes.
Finally, you learn the Civil War was about slavery.
I’m not exactly a millionaire but I’d be willing to leave the UK if it wasn’t such a hassle. It’s been quite a while since I’ve felt any national pride in the things we’re doing or our collective priorities.
The likelihood of having even more overseas parties with massive stakes in our economy, infrastructure, and housing with a somehow greater degree of detachment from their impact doesn’t sound great for anyone.
This comment reminded me of how I was frustrated by the beginning of The Departed because Damon and DiCaprio looked so similar that I kept getting confused as to which character I was seeing
Honestly not surprised. I used this company for a few months during COVID to get meds after my diagnosis, but I left pretty quickly after they abruptly wouldn’t reply to my messages and wouldn’t send my prescription to the pharmacy.
