JustAManOnAToilet , in Feedback needed for new rules

Honestly, don’t get too caught up with written rules. It’s always going to come down to a judgement call and you’re never going to please everyone. Having loads of rules will just lead to “well I think this violates rule 72 § 904b(3) and here’s an essay on why!” Just do the best you can keeping things from becoming a Halo 2 matchmaking lobby.

Mostly because august hasn’t started yet.

meldroc , in Feedback needed for new rules

Hmmm. For rule 4, please make sure there’s leeway for site-altered headlines.

And maybe a rule against bad-faith participation, just as a catch-all for dealing with trolls, sockpuppets, bots, purveyors of disinformation…

Both have been changed in the new rules which I will share soon. Thank you for the feedback.

afraid_of_zombies , in US citizens will need to pay for a visa to travel to Europe starting in 2024

Great so one more thing to remember. Get a connecting flight in Europe now means a visa.

bobs_monkey OP ,

I’m not sure that’s how that works. I think if you just have a layover and you remain in the secure area of the airport, you’re not technically passing through a point of entry and only required a visa for your final destination.

afraid_of_zombies ,

That is only marginally better. I have had near whole day layovers in Europe. The only thing that didn’t drive me insane was that I could walk outdoors.

Very expected, hopefully they’re done. I suspect this is to cover their butts for when inflation month-to-month goes up a bit, which is likely given that core cpi is higher than headline inflation.
