There are an absolute fuckload of Israeli tech companies, and more than a few who are highly regarded in various specialized fields - particularly infosec
It’s hard to square articles that suggest that so many voters are in favor of pro-LGBTQ+ laws, against a backdrop of laws that criminalize existing as an LGBTQ+ person. Where are these voters at? How about all of the corporations that bastardize pride? That’s right; inconvenience.
Gerrymandering to make those large blocks of voters unable to vote in significant amounts of officials + officials willing to just fly against the will of the people who voted them in anyway are major factors here too

What do they want here? Iran has demonstrated that trying to mount an invasion to liberate hostages by force from Islamists does not end well.
The only way they’re getting “more” is if they make peace with losing their loved ones in exchange for pushing an invasion of Gaza to round up as many Hamas leaders as can be grabbed to give them the hostage treatment in revenge.
I’d wager a lot of students just don’t care because they really shouldn’t.

Why would they focus on academia which teaches them to make things harder on themselves so it’s easier on teachers?
Also, modern schools are just propaganda mills these days anyways. Their goals are to get students to conform and waste money at college.
I’m a firm believer that academia is not for everyone, and we shouldn’t be forcing it to be. It should be there for those who want it, and nothing is wrong with those who don’t.
