The Aptera Solar EV is all about right to repair! 80% of all maintenance can be done with an allen wrench! You can also change out any of the components you see fit to alter. Sooo cool!!
I’m not familiar with 3BP’s design process for the Droplet, but Aptera’s design is 100% based on aerodynamics. Aptera’s engineering team is amazing and as long as it made sense regarding wind resistance, it was selected. The trunk can become a tent with the Aptera too, pretty ingenious.
I’m more of a fan of Universal Basic Services, because money shouldn’t really be part of the equation and it creates a tons of loopholes that can be exploited. Everyone should have basic needs guaranteed unconditionally. Food, shelter, healthcare, public transit, and education must be considered to be basic rights.
I still don’t get why this whole concept of the superposition exists. Like, yeah, if you don’t measure something, you don’t know what it’s like. This isn’t new.
The only new aspect at the quantum level is that you cannot measure without (non-neglible) impact on the thing that you’re measuring, because our usual method of measuring involves blasting it with quanta (photons).
That means some of our usual science concepts don’t work anymore, like measuring something, then changing it in some way and then measuring again.
But just telling people precisely what I just said, feels so much simpler than raving on about how we should call the state of “we haven’t looked at it yet”.
The description missed: desperate attempt of OP to paint Wikipedia (the open source successful project which democratized public knowledge) same colours as Facebook and Twitter.
Whenever I see these coy political memes I’m grateful that I’m not on the side where our extremists are the mainstream. The political theory is great, guys. In theory. Don’t make it your personality.
