Has anyone managed to get SFSE working with Starfield? Ive looked it up and it seems straight forward (relatively) But my game just crashes when I use SFSE both with continuing my game and also creating a new game. This is even with no SFSE mods installed. So simply using SFSE to launch the game.
I’ve been having issues with GTA V on Linux too, with performance being heavily affected by a growing ram consumption that either just slows down the game, creates intense stutters, or just makes it freeze entirely by consuming every ram&swap available....
Like many others I have a lot of content on itch.io amassed through some impressive bundles they’ve had in recent years. I’m looking for an easy way to browse and launch my itch.io games and it got me wondering why Heroic doesn’t have itch.io implemented by default. It would seem an obvious choice.
I heard a rumor that some open source World of Warcraft is about to launch and rather sooner than later. If the rumor is true, what is the project name and is it available for Linux?...
Basically I was able to play Cyberpunk on my Nobara setup (N37, KDE, Nvidia 10180ti, Intel i5 CPU) but everything went sideways when I upgraded from kernel version 6.2.14-300 to 6.3.5-201 (and still have issues despite several upgrades since then and now on 6.3.12 I think)....
I am using Arch linux on a nvidia machine with the latest nvidia package, and the default linux kernel. I have noticed steam takes forever to launch and seems to loop, this happens on both xorg and wayland...
So, I’m just trying to play good ole SH3 on my PC. I’ve initially installed it manually, which led to a bunch of audio weirdness. So then I found the reddit guide for Steam Deck, so I thought that would be a good point of start. I downloaded the yaml, and ran it through Lutris as instructed. And sure enough it seems to...
I had to enable proton compatibillity to even get the game to detect the controller however even after doing that the analog stick won’t go up. I tried enabling steam input but that didn’t work either
I can’t get my DualShock 4 controllers to work on Arch without ds4drv. I am pretty sure this method isn’t required anymore, because the dualshock 4 work just fine on NixOS. What am I missing? Do I need to load modules? Specific kernel or Bluetooth package? I am running the latest zen kernel with Nvidia. Same hardware as my...
i’m on Nobara project trying to run OW2 through lutris, it runs perfectly fine it’s just locked at 60 fps visually but the in game FPS counter says 300+...
What controller do you recommend for steam gaming? Is the ps5 controller good? I heard the Xbox controller had some latency issues. I’ve been using the ps4 controller and have noticed a slight amount of latency.
As I have no gaming console I have an idea to sometimes plug my daily-drive laptop to a TV and run some parties playing games like Overcooked or Move or Die. My laptop runs Linux with KDE Plasma and has a Thunderbolt 4 port....
When trying to install games on an ext4 external drive I get a disk write error from steam. Whenever I reset the permissions on the drive to both read and write, not just read, steam immediately reverts that whenever it’s opened.
i’ve been interested in switching to linux for gaming but i’m not sure how the games i play run; i like to play Apex legends and Overwatch 2 competitively. can linux run these games with low latency and high frame rate? i’m looking into the Nobara project and pikaOS distros
Im trying to install a game through Lutris using the game’s installer and I keep coming across the same error that I can’t really find much information on. It seems to be an issue with dotnet itself or the actual game installer and not WINE though, so I am unsure how to proceed....
