Hi All,...
I don’t know if this is desired, however I personally would appreciate compatibility reports for newly released games....
Ahoy - I am as green as green can be when it comes to using any Linux OS, so please forgive any ignorance, I am learning as I go, I only installed this yesterday and I have zero Linux experience....
Patch 2 seems to have drastically slowed down the Vulkan Renderer. Before I was able to get 80-110FPS in the Druid Grove, but now I am only getting 50fps. DX11 seems fine though, but I prefer using Vulkan since I am on Linux....
Are there any good MMORPG games natively run on Linux?
AMD announced FSR 3 will allow for fluid motion frame generation in-game on almost any GPU in any DirectX12 game, doubling or even tripling your FPS....
Hi all,...
Like many old PC games, the game comes with an activation-code on the back of the case. The installer asks me for the 25 digit code on the case. I look, and I can see that the code definitely contains 25 digits. But than when I try to input the 25 digit code into the 5 text boxes provided (5 digits per box) only 4 digits can be...
TLDR: Is there anyone who knows how well game streaming from a Linux computer to a Moonlight client works?...
I’m running a Radeon 6770 on my home machine, running Mint and running Baulder’s Gate 3 under Steam, and have been having some surfaces sparkle or not show correctly when running it with Vulkan in Proton, though everything looks perfect when using DirectX. It also looks correct in both modes when run on Steam deck. What is...
I have a huge library of game EXEs on my computer, but they run at a 4:3 aspect ratio as they’re old, Proton/Proton-GE/WINE-GE keep the aspect ratio and place black bars left and right, which is desireble, unlike wine who stocks them to the left side of the screen.
I just found out that sometime in the last month or so while doing regular updates Wine got bumped to 8.12… (likely from 8.0) and my games have gone haywire: Neverwinter Nights and Diablo2 would kind of start but then halt. Switching to desktop and back unblocks games for the next few seconds and then things repeat....
Well I’m hopping around… again. I thought I had a good stable setup going but then something happens upstream that goes against what I want/believe in (looking at you RedHat) and I’m back on the hunt again....

I was an avid single player gamer a long long time ago (15+ years) and the recent Quake II remaster sparked the nostalgia in me and now I want start playing all my favorite classic games (StarCraft, Diablo II, Quake 2 and 3, Battlefield 2, etc.) again....
The reason keeping me from switching over to Linux is because I have a low end laptop GPU (AMD R5 M300 series) and every drop of OC is vital to me, I used MSI Afterburner on Windows and I don’t know what to use on linux that actually work and user friendly if possible
I tried playing Breathedge with several Proton versions with the mpeg fix for the videos but every version crashed after arround 90 secs...
Heads up for those who want a game controller that works well on Linux: Target.com has the DualSense for $50 USD right now....
Dual-booting Windows 11 and Fedora 38. Gaming on Win 11 is, as expected, most times great. I want to migrate to Fedora and use it as a daily driver, and while it does a damn good job at doing just that, it’s disturbingly aweful at gaming. I’ve installed Steam and I set out to try a couple of games to see what it would...
So I’ve rebooted my Debian computer, having installed, run, and used Lutris to run a GOG game. It worked fine....
