Hi, I’m running Linux Mint 21.3 with kernel 6.5.0-21 on a Lenovo Thinkpad T14 gen 2 with an AMD Ryzen 7 CPU, and most relevant to my question, an Intel AX210 WiFi controller....
I recently switched from Windows 10 to ZorrinOS (after a quick detour to NixOS… OOF) and in the course of setting things up how I like, I ran across some interesting stuff relating to flatpaks and shortcuts. I wanted to get this written to provide a resource for other people who might be switching....

If things work out, I’d absolutely prefer a work laptop with Linux installed (I personally use PopOS but any distro will do), a Mac will be second choice, but I absolutely cannot tolerate Windows, I abhor it, I hate it… (If all computers left...
Hello good people,...
I secure systems for my day job. That means installing AV software, ensuring Windows Firewall is ON, etc. (Plus many other things…)...
So I just installed opensuse KDE for the first time and when I was typing password for my WiFi, instead of connecting me, some window appeared asking for creating encrypted wallet. I don’t need that so I turned it off in the system settings, but then my PC always forgets my WiFi pasword after shutdown. So I turned on and...

Hi al, I just did a fresh install of linux mint and I don’t have any audio on my internal subwoofers. Dell XPS 9500. I made a post about it on the linux mint forums, which contains more info and “progress” but no luck so far....
So the thing with Debian and any Debian based distro like Ubuntu or Linux Mint is there is no big centralized software repo like the AUR. Yes there is the apt repository but if you want something that’s not in there, get ready to read the documentation or follow random guides....
Hi folks. Anyone running Debian on Alienware 17 r4? Or am I dreaming because of the “NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti” graphics? My preference would be LMDE
