I get a lot of visual artifacts when first opening Chromium on Pop!_OS with a 12th gen intel Framework laptop. Relatedly, odd black outlines will appear around different elements around the OS occasionally. I believe I’m on the most recent drivers and such, is there some other configuration necessary to fix this bit of cruft?
I was using Windows for a long time, from 95, XP, 7 and 10. Games just worked out fine, software that I needed I pirated. But I was annoyed from updates, (cannot turn off MY pc, just update and turn off option) bing, fokin bing and oh the best - F1 binded to it....
I have just seen that StrongSwan is installed and the service is enabled on my Raspberry Pi. But I have never used Strongswan before. Is there any way to research when it was installed? My laptop switched from AHCI to RST on its own (probably after a Windows update) and now I cannot boot my Kubuntu anymore. Live sticks also cannot access the drives. When I try to switch it back in the UEFI settings, it tells me that it will wipe the drive to do so....

Title pretty much says it all. I’ve been using ubuntu as my daily driver for the last 5 years or so and honestly, I’ve had a wonderful experience with it....
Apart from being open source what is Linux? Could I not create my own operating system that is different to windows or Macos and call it Steve, again there might be an awnser for this and sounds stupid but its more out of curiosity.
