It’s probably the local name for the monster.

Ah, so he has self hatred, and bad handwritting. I can relate.

So fucking crazy that anyone will repeat something when the only source is “According to the Trump campaign”

$ sudo kill -9 1

fuck you

$ echo “c” > /proc/sysrq-trigger

prole , (edited )

As someone who’s relatively new to Linux, anyone want to explain what these lines would do? I’m aware of KILL, but dunno what the ‘-9’ refers to. Not familiar with sysrq-trigger

Bougie_Birdie ,
@Bougie_Birdie@lemmy.blahaj.zone avatar

The kill command allows you to specify which type of kill signal you want to send. -9 sends signal 9 or SIGKILL, and we’re sending it to pid 1.

That would force kill systemd, which I just have to assume will send your computer to a crashing halt.

The echo command is writing “c” to a file at /proc/sysrq-trigger which I don’t really know how it works but this suggests you’ll “crash the system without first unmounting file systems or syncing disks attached to the system.”

I haven’t installed fuck so I’m not sure how that works

sin_free_for_00_days , in Falling Down (10/10) Movie CLIP - Fore! (1993) HD

I remember going from “I totally get this guy” for the first half to “oh…crap, this guy is actually a nutcase shithead” by the end.

USNWoodwork ,

That movies was so good. I was a teenager with testosterone levels pushing towards psychopathy. I thought he was the hero of the story even after it was over. My mom (I guess correctly) thought he was the bad guy.

My cousins and I still quote that movie a lot, though its even less PC now than it was back then. “Now THESE are Vietnam Jungle Boots! They’re great for…” Back in the day we would scream that shit at each other, now I’d cringe so hard I’d probably pull a stomach muscle.

I thought it was a shame they made the ending that way. The criticism against dishonesty and greed are spot on, even more so today.

FelixCress ,

He was actually much more sane than multiple characters he met on his way.

Etterra , in Swifties wasted no time...

Yeah but their aim was even worse than the other idiot. These nutjobs need to get their shit together; I’ve been successfully assassinated in political video games for a fraction of what the Orange Idiot’s done to real people.

cordlesslamp ,

please name the game.

Atropos ,

Second! Sounds like fun

vaultdweller013 ,

Ya can do it in Kenshi, assassins creed, and Crusader Kings. Actually in Kenshi and CK ya can go far far worse than simple assassinations, I am the Cuck King all thine babies are mine!

kameecoding ,

I might be misremembering but Old Wolrd has something similar too, you can piss off the wrong child and they assassinate you

Zwiebel , (edited )

Look up how many attempts Hitler survived, ridiculous.

StinkySocialist ,

The 42 attempts at assassinating Hitler ain’t nothing to sneeze at but Fidel Castro would like a word. The CIA attempted to assassinate him 638 times.

Did the guy even fire shots? From what I heard he was just in the area and carrying a firearm.

Five men.

Six words.

Two mistakes.

This summer, they are:

Scared & Stupid (rated R)

Looks like five mistakes to me. And two spelling errors.

At first I thought this was from Inspirobot, but then I saw that watermark and second guessed myself. Regardless, I decided to find out what Inspirobot had to say about this.

woodgen , in Big Penny!

This looks like they want this stat to increase. No warning colors or symbolic signs of danger. But they have a probd counter for their trap.

ysjet ,

Iirc, this bridge has a ton of signs, signal lights, and indicators leading up to it- they’re just farther out, so you can actually turn away from it BEFORE you’re committed to going under it, or stopping dead in the street.

bender223 , in Swifties wasted no time...

Don’t. Fuck. With. Swift.

That was just a warning.

J/K, IDK 😛
