i appreciated that it paid a lot of reverence to the logan movie, which was great. hopefully it made people want to go see it for the first time, or again
The first was so good cause they had to think outside the box in terms of budget. Deadpool forgets his guns in the taxi just because they didn’t have the budget for a big gun fight for the final. The second Deadpool has an unlimited budget which is a sure way to kill your creativity
the villains (all of them) were meh. and it was 90% fan service, which i guess was the point. but most of the “supposed to be funny” bits were actually funny, and reynolds and jackman were awesome as always-- i’ll go see the next one just for their odd couple shenanigans
It feels like such a meme at this point for a Marvel villain to lose all nuance and just turn into a one note murder everything villain for the 3rd act. It didn't have to be this way.
My favorite part was after he used the pretty Deadpool as a meat shield he tried CPR on him and blood was spouting out of every bullet hole. That was a great gag.
It definitely looks like a great way to get disoriented, fall down and crack your head on the bowl if you’re groggy and wake up in the middle of the night.
All-you-can-eat buffets in the swamps of Duloc. I watched ogres sing and dance in perfect harmony on the Hills of Far Far Away. I’ve been chased by dragons who just wanted to be loved. I’ve heard Shrek snore so loud it shook the walls of the outhouse.
All those moments will be lost in time, like burps in a swamp.
Makes me remember this one time in English class in France where one student called him Jean-François Kennedy. The whole class had a good laugh, including the teacher 😅
