You’ll note that the story says TWO oysters were stuck to it, which would likely be able to conceal one cookie. The author says that they opened the oyster before the cookie danced inside. If we consider the “inside” of the oyster as the part now on top, then it doesn’t seem all that ridiculous for the cookie to have danced on one oyster.
