FFXVI - Am I crazy?
I’ve been playing Final Fantasy 16 for the last couple of weeks and feel really let down by the hype and reviews of this game....

I’ve been playing Final Fantasy 16 for the last couple of weeks and feel really let down by the hype and reviews of this game....
Recently I wanted to play a magical combat game and Hogwarts legacy seemed to be mostly what I was looking for so I ethically acquired a copy. Unfortunately even with DRM removed it runs very poorly on my laptop....
So I’m reassessing my entertainment center since seeing the Video Game History Foundation’s report. Since the study it’s got me thinking, if you could pick any 4 consoles to have hooked up to your TV (4 becuase I’ve got 4 inputs to my TV) which would you pick and why? I will accept modded consoles as answers too.

I recently posted about finding time to game as a parent and the community has provided a bunch of good suggestions. Thank you! After reading all comments, I think it really boils down to accessibility of gaming for the occasional moments of free time that I do have in my busy schedule. The ability to pick something up easily,...
I’ve been wanting to jump in on the final fantasy universe for a while now but I’m not sure where to start....
After years of lamenting about the cost, I was gifted a switch recently (
(edit: vague spoilers for outer wilds + dlc!)...
There are moments when I do not wish to continue playing a game but still wish to learn about the game and the things that happened in it so far. Sometimes the story becomes too confusing or I forget that one in-game tip that is needed to beat the game, which is when I am forced to research on that topic else the rest of my...
What is Road 96?...
Another week another thread!...
The most toxic communities I know of are the Genshin community, Payday 2, FFXIV and source games communities in general.
“We are pleased to announce that Microsoft and @PlayStation have signed a binding agreement to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation following the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. We look forward to a future where players globally have more choice to play their favorite games.”...
I recently tried to play Wolfenstein New Order, I realized that unlocking the framerate makes the game break. why? (sorry for bad english)

I’ve finished the main story and I’ve grinded some Lynel guts to upgrade the soldier armor (I currently have 64 armor points total when wearing the set.) I’ve also defeated one King Gleeok, and I’ve completed two of the large maze structures....
I really like card games like this game, but most other alternatives I could find are pay to win. Are there any similar games like Marvel:Midnight Suns?
Because it doesn’t seem to matter currently if you play ranked games or casual games, the general experience tends to be the same. But one has numbers and things to go with it. You still get people playing to win in casual games and you get people dicking around having fun in ranked games, and the ranks don’t necessarily...
I’ve always found myself bouncing off hard on “make your own fun” type games like Minecraft or the newer Zeldas. This extends to any type of game that has no clear goals or motivators....
I recently started playing GTAV again and sometimes I’ll get in my car and let the radio stations play while I do house stuff. Favorite stations are the 80s one with Kenny Loggins, and West Coast Classics and Rock Radio.
Howdy! I’m going to play Witcher 3 again, I had fun with it for a little bit a few years ago but fell off. The main reason I fell off: the hardest difficulty was just… tedious....
I’m trying to get through an unpleasant cold, do you have title recommendations for a half-dead, bored brain?...
I grew up an avid gamer. But now, among my 50-hour work week, helping my kids with their math homework, grocery shopping, and house chores, I’m no longer able to find enough free time to really dive into a game. I mostly play casual games that I can drop in and out of but forget about the 40hr+ games requiring commitment....
I would like recommendations for open world games where the player has abundant ways to interact with the world, be it with the NPCs or buildings, and does not have to worry about survival aspects of the character or spending time exploring a static world. I would not mind if it comes at the cost of a smaller sized world, as...
I have a few games that I am playing at the moment, but a lot of them require at least some time commitment once you start a round. I'd like something that I can start now and maybe finish later. Something on the line of Solitaire or https://mergetin.com/ .
