Embracer makes 20 offline games and 3 live service games (these are not the real numbers, but just as an example), and that still affects the value of the investment that they can expect to take in from people investing in the video game industry. Now they can’t make a substantial amount of their payroll, and they lay off half of their work force. Embracer may have been the poster child for the crash the industry is seeing, but they’re not alone.
