Is there any website that shows the federation status between instances in some graphical way like Venn diagram or whatever?

Is it possible to send messages between lemmy users and kbin users. Not using Matrix, but the “fediverse” messanger?

I’m reading the ActivityPub spec here and it seems pretty fit for client-to-server communications. Yeah, it might be somewhat bulkier than your typical rest api, but it’s more universal, which begs the question: why do mastodon and lemmy both decided to implement custom (and incompatible) APIs for their clients to talk to...

Make only each account’s 5 most recent upvotes effect post rank. In effect this would make vote sellers need to make many more accounts to be useful, they would need to churn upvotes....
