Is it just the momentum and word of mouth, or are there improved features as well?

I think now is a great time to remind everyone, like sync’s developer, Lemmy’s developers need to be paid too! The amount of time all the devs put into making lemmy exist, in my opinion, should be worth some of your money. I find something like this very interesting. Additionally, I hope that awesome-lemmy-instances will merge this feature since the low number of blocked users and consistent low latency are the two main things I look for when searching for a new instance.

Is it possible to send messages between lemmy users and kbin users. Not using Matrix, but the “fediverse” messanger?

Lots of small improvements across the user experience, and opt-in search, make this an important release.

The number of subscribers listed in the sidebar is only the number of users from YOUR instance that are subscribed. This might make you feel like a community is ‘small’ or ‘dead’ when it actually isn’t....
