Mine goes by Bitty, short for Bacon Bit as she’s canonically the reincarnation of a stray I once lured in with slices of bacon.

I almost always refer to as The Bitty, in honor of The Cheat.

One of my cats is called Jack, but her full name is Captain Jack Sparrow. My dad named her when he was drunk on the first day we got her, after we found her in our garage as a kitten. Idk why he chose that name but I loved it so much I instantly agreed and we overruled my mom’s attempts at rejecting it. I always make sure to tell vets her full name so they can put it in her file.

We used to have a cat we named Julia Hackensplatter, because when we first got her she was so sick she’d cough and shitspray all over the place.

(She got better though, and lived quite a long time after a lot of love and meds.)
