So my family has a few containers of unused blank dvds that are just lying around collecting dust. i know dvds are almost useless because of streaming, but can they still be used. I don’t like the default of Lemmy opening links in the current window, because sometimes I open a few links at a time. And I dropped my mouse, it landed on the wheel, and the middle button is broken (I know, I know). But this seems like something that should have a setting somewhere anyway.

Some times, when reading Lemmy comments, it seems that some word in the comment was replaced with “removed”, in italics. Is the app censoring comments? Is my lemmy instance doing that? Is there a way to turn that off?...
I keep seeing men online (Reddit, Instagram, TikTok) saying how they don’t know personal details about their male friends of several years. It is mostly said in a proud context, or in disbelief when a woman talks about it....
