Does it happen to you guys as well?...
I noticed a new background image on the Android podcast app this morning. I thought one of my podcasts changed their icon art. Nope, it’s a Logan Paul podcast. I’ve never listened to any of his stuff. I only heard about him when he challenged someone to an MMA fight I think?...
I’m looking to buy an iPhone 15 when it comes out. For those that also have a Pixel, what are some things that each phone does completely better than the other?...
I feel like there hasn’t been enough fun shenanigans in our community recently (and I love shenanigans.), so, we are doing a mini-contest to replace a word for our sidebar description.(Because I’m bored with it)....
I use a pixel 4A 5G right now, and it’s the perfect size for me, I was planning on upgrading to the nothing phone 2, but it’s very big for my hands, any phones similar to the 4a 5G?
Is there any keyboard which lets you configure the service used for voice input?...
quick question for the community:...
My uncle recently gave me an old Minix Neo X8-H Plus. It has been upgraded from the stock Android KitKat up to Lollipop, and it has been rooted. I have connected a USB DVD drive, but I haven’t tested it yet....
I have a 64GB SD Card formatted as internal storage. And I would like to install apps into it. How can I do this?
Does anyone know of an app that will search all installed icon packs for a term?
I’ve been using a Xcover Pro until recently but it shut down and never rebooted so I’m looking for a new rugged phone....
I am using an FOSS app called Automation Git repo, it doesn’t allow me to directly open Android Apps except if I use scripts. I don’t know what scripts it’s talking about, but I am trying to learn. Just like there are bash shell scripts, are there android scripts or something of the sort?...
I want to auto start Termux and KDE Connect whenever I reboot. I basically need to launch android applications Termux and KDE connect while my Samsung phone starts and it can’t do it by itself, so, I want a app like MacroDroid which is opensource.
These days its very hard to buy a phone from a reputable brand.
I’ve rooted my device to get an acceptable blue light filter on my phone (1500K), I really don’t like the idea of having to root just for that and play the cat and mouse game to hide the root. Any other way to do it? I’ve looked everywhere and nothing is close to what I want. The default night light in the settings barely...

Is everyone just using AI and not proof reading? I see this a lot lately. Even Tom’s Guide has bad editing, a good example is this article: www.tomsguide.com/news/pixel-8...

I just got a new phone and wanted a new compact 45w charger to replace the 20w Anker nano I use at work. My phone supports 68w with the original charger but I noticed it usually hovers around 50w so I figured 45w is not a huge drop to be able to get a faster but still smaller charger....
I’m curious as I’ve been running DNS66 on my previous and current phone and whilst it does exactly what it says (blocks all ads across the device) my concern is that the last published update in fdroid sas 2021....
I broke my Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and can get some from Costco for $160. What else should I be considering in that price range? What do you like?
So I recently bought a new honor magic 5 pro. My last phone the Huawei p20 pro was around 5 years old and started to show significantly less battery life. So I want to use this phone again for 5 years. But now I wonder should I keep the battery around 50% (65-35) and charge twice as often or should I 80-20 and charge once every...
I’m starting to see not as many newer mobiles in the Lineage OS list as I used to. The US is a lost cause with companies not allowing their bootloader to be unlocked, but even the Chinese companies like OPPO, Vivo, OnePlus etc don’t seem to have their recent devices on the Lineage OS supported list. Am I imagining this, or...
I normally use the Aurora frontend, but I used Google’s app to check something. I couldn’t help but notice that when I swiped and then let go, the page would barely move past the point I had let go. It had no momentum whatsoever. As soon as I got past the ads, scrolling was back to normal and the exact same flinging motion...
