I’ve been using iPhone 14 Pro Max for a year which my company gave me. But it has disadvantages more than advantages for me. I want to change it with an Android phone that bootloader unlockable. I want to install Google-free ROM....

I have a Razr flip phone that I often use folded halfway (laptop style) and watch videos on the top half while I do other things....

I do not plan to purchase it from a carrier. Yes, I’m in the US. Is this even possible?

I care about them in that order. So if it doesn’t have popup camera I don’t care as much as if it doesn’t have audio jack.

I personally found that the new “Selected Photos Access” feature of Android 14, which allows you to give apps permissions only to the photos you intend to upload, is buggy on some apps. So far it seems to be broken on the Tumbr and Firefox apps....

My daughter has a low specced Android Go phone, just for Whatsapp, Signal and txting. She likes it as it’s also quite small compared to most other smartphones....

At this point I’m not even picky about which custom ROM I run....

I have been using xiaomi phones for a long time now, for most of them the (xda) community eventually had great ROMs that (eventually) worked without problems or with very little....
