IMO, they think their defense case was damaged by all the comments senior Israelis have made calling for the genocide of the Palestinians, so now they're trying to defuse that argument.
I shouldn’t be replying to this as I am just as ignorant, but the last I heard of Iran is it has bombed US camps in Iraq as retaliation to the US-British attack on Yemen. (Normal Iranian behaviour if you ask me)
The most pro-government anti-Palestinian major newspaper in Israel quoting one of the most viscerally anti-Palestinian fascists in the Israeli government playing the antisemitism card against a neutral party telling the truth about the atrocities in Gaza isn’t news any more than Newsmax quoting Trump calling Biden senile.
It’s exactly as predictable and exactly as useful.
Ben Gvir is simply calling for Nationalist Socialism, to protect the Fatherland, dehumanizing Palestinians to justify people following orders and annexing neighbors. Well, that definitely not at all like Nazi Germany at all then (bitter sarcasm).
