Yeah, it says the Russian Orthodox is separate from the larger Eastern Orthodox Church, and they’re a minority in Ukraine compared to the other Orthodox Christians. So I don’t think it’s going to be a big deal. Hopefully they just target bishops or whatever and change a few signs, and don’t really mess with people’s individual churches and priests.
@yogthos And then the upper stage blew up, creating a debris field of more than 700 objects that now threatens satellites in the same orbit: reuters.com/technology/space/c…
China has a really bad track record with their stages. They have launch sites where they drop the first stages on land - sometimes hitting or almost hitting villages (which is really bad as many of these stages use toxic propellants). Their upper stages re-enter the atmosphere in an uncontrolled way (most other rocket launchers do this in a controlled way and let them re-enter at "Point Nemo").
Too bad he hasn’t seemed to piss off China. I bet with all those precursor connections they would have enough influence to get them to destroy the meeting place.
Should have requested the Cartels do something about it.
The United States could simply offer a 12 month amnesty to any Cartel who manages to make Putin appear, alive, at The Hague. The value of that would easily exceed a Billion dollars and be highly motivational.
Ah yes, the old “your government/politician does bad thing therefore you cannot criticize other bad thing” argument. So eloquent, so convincing. So strong.
I could live to be a thousand, and I’ll still be seeing small-minded people make the same argument.
Ukraine is using ANRIK drones with KVARTAL munitions. This allows them to get their FLÄRDFULL units in place. They're super easy to set up in the field, but if you're left scratching your head, there's a hotline to call.
There was a story I read a while back where, during a firefight, the soldier called the manufacturer’s hot line and got his issue fixed. I’d love to hear a soldier screaming over artillery that their stupid HIMARS isn’t accepting the new rockets and Lockheed puts them on hold.
