That’s the problem with the republican solution of safety achieved through everyone having a gun. It’s just too weak of a solution. Everyone needs to carry at least two guns!
Let’s take inspiration from the glory days of piracy and Boondock Saints. Strap guns across every square inch of your body you can, and then line the trenchcoat.
If guns were banned then knives probably would become more common. Its bad enough school’s are used as shooting ranges and yeah having a gun doesn’t always mean you’re safe. It just makes you the bigger target for the gunner.
I despise them as much as the next queer liberal but it isn’t just the vile boomers falling for this. Keep an eye on your grandparents, maybe sit down and explain the more common scams and tell them to call you if they get something weird. No banking info over phones, etc.
I heard The Birds was a classic movie so I watched it one day. The only thing I remember is that the woman who is being chased by murderous crows runs into a bar and asks for a ride home to avoid being attacked. A guy downs his whiskey and then says “I’ll drive you home, miss”.
I’ve seen it more than once. I enjoy it. You do have to be prepared to accept the special effects levels at the time.
The problem with watching the movie for me now is that I know that the reason that Tippi Hedren gave such a believable performance in terms of being terrified is due to how Hitchcock terrified and assaulted her.
