i appreciated that it paid a lot of reverence to the logan movie, which was great. hopefully it made people want to go see it for the first time, or again
The first was so good cause they had to think outside the box in terms of budget. Deadpool forgets his guns in the taxi just because they didn’t have the budget for a big gun fight for the final. The second Deadpool has an unlimited budget which is a sure way to kill your creativity
Cleo, @NocturnalMorning told me, they would give you as many of your favourite treats as you want! And then give you the exact amount of attention and cuddles you want. No more and no less.
the villains (all of them) were meh. and it was 90% fan service, which i guess was the point. but most of the “supposed to be funny” bits were actually funny, and reynolds and jackman were awesome as always-- i’ll go see the next one just for their odd couple shenanigans
It feels like such a meme at this point for a Marvel villain to lose all nuance and just turn into a one note murder everything villain for the 3rd act. It didn't have to be this way.
Lemmy’s mostly alright, it’s nice that it is more politically open, though I’ve seen a lot I don’t agree with from some groups, namely hexbear, but also a bit from other places. ml is a mixed bag for me but at least you can just straight up block things easily.
My favorite part was after he used the pretty Deadpool as a meat shield he tried CPR on him and blood was spouting out of every bullet hole. That was a great gag.
It’s a Scottish island in the North Sea bordering to the North Atlantic. It’s quite small. To reach it you have to take a ferry, then a smaller ferry, and then a dinghy.
because advertisers will do anything to sell something. even if not official ads id bet we see fake accounts pushing something like reddit has seen over the years
That’s not how this works. Eventually the way we search instances gets weighed heavily to the content with ads. Look at podcasts or youtube. You just can’t find that OG material and it’s not just because the Joe Rogan are just that much better at podcasting. It’s because the ads are expensive and the system is made to sell attention.
You cannot give an inch. You either have to stand firm and never tolerate any encroachment of advertising or you have to bend over and grab the ankles and brace for the massive ad injection into all our spaces. There can never be any middle ground. Like a weed you have to be proactive and the minute you let your guard down it’ll take over wearing the face of your favorite ishowspeed clone.
