There’s a conversation starter that has popped up in a couple of my friend groups that is similar to this, basically “what movies would be improved by all but one actor being replaced by muppets?” My answer has consistently been Face/Off with Nic Cage as the only human actor. I even threw a poster together…
KDE connect only works painlessly on phones that allow you to use your files… As weird as it is, that’s not most of them.
But you can still move them around somehow and force it to work. Also, the same works for syncthing. USB drivers haven’t been the easiest option for a while.
It says Algida on my country (correctly), but back when I was a kid it was Eskimo. It might be a false memory but I also remember Langnese for a short time, but it could have been the foreign TV channels (Pro7, RTL, Sat1).
If you can intercept boot ( press a key to get to the grub menu or whatever… I haven’t used Ubuntu in a while so maybe it’s not so simple anymore) you may be able to enter rescue / single-user mode and let apt complete the changes and then revert them.
A clean reinstall may be easier depending on how much you’ve changed on the system. Easier isn’t always better, fix this and you’ll know how to do it again in the future.
