:D

So what is there left? Are all her expenses taken care of now? Please snuggle her for me

ChamrsDeluxe OP ,
@ChamrsDeluxe@lemmy.world avatar

Well, the spaying surgery wasn’t on this bill yet. We still gotta get a new litter box, some toys. If the epsom salts and current medications don’t treat the infection in her little paw, she might need a surgery there as well. Still some unknowns.

So we already have 3 cats. We didn’t anticipate having to keep this little one, but now, because we couldn’t find her a home, we now have 4 cats to attend to.

And I will definitely be snuggling her. She’s had a rough day today and is a little cranky, so she is having a much needed nap lol.

wait how does it see inside the blast

Chetzemoka ,

That second picture isn't the inside of the blast even though it looks a little inside out. It's the evolution of the blast a fraction of a second later in time. Those bits sticking out the right and left sides are also sticking out the front pointing toward the camera, giving it an inside out appearance.

That first picture - and I am WILDLY speculating based on my understanding of how a nuclear bomb works - might be the initial triggering blast, which is a conventional explosive like any regular bomb. The second picture might be the first appearance of the actual nuclear explosion which moves faster and is overtaking the initial conventional blast.

Again, take that with a handful of salt. I'm just hazarding a guess.

Oh… oh no… I’m sure it will get better with the right treatment, though.

For more modern CT-likes I would recommend Chained Echoes and the soon-to-be-released Sea of Stars. Chained Echoes was fantastic.

A bit atrophic there,no?

Lexam , to til in TIL some sharks lay eggs and they look like this

I wonder if this helps them stay in place in the sea bed.

Varyk ,

The shark eggs have spiral ridges on their outer layer which helps them grip better to rock crevices. The mother shark screws the egg into rock crevices and nook which prevents the eggs from getting washed away by waves.

Too interesting not to share
