I had a cat that, for 16 years, would unerringly launch herself onto my groin as I lay in bed. Swapping places with my partner did not help. Only her passing released me.
Would not matter anyway. From what I learned, guns actually require the barrel to direct the force of the propellant forward, pushing it against the projectile, like a pressure tube. Without it, the projectile would just flop out while most of the force just vanishes as it expands out to the sides.
Not sure what temp this stuff burns at, but it seems highly unlikely it would be hot enough to set off the primer, or that the beetle could produce enough of it to sufficiently coat the rounds to have this effect.
Also, if this somehow did cause the cartridges to fire… pretty sure that would kill the beetle anyway.
Well this is lemmy, nearly everyone is the Linux guy. Personally I would definitely sit next to the Linux guy because I would love to nerd out with someone else about Linux for 10 hours.
Well, with a name like “Little Demon”, this ones on you. You should have seen that name at the shelter and said “Ya know what? I don’t have the time for Little Demon. I’ll adopt Snowball instead.”
Don’t get me wrong, Snowball is a bigger psychopath than Little Demon, but you wouldn’t know that. Her full name is “Snowball’s chance in hell that your testicles survive”.
It’s weird how we name cats after their violent tendancies in this universe.
What do you mean, needlessly confusing? The release order was genius. Opening with the movie screening showed exactly the kind of show it was. It also allowed the climax to be in the last episode of the season, while still having it happen in the middle chronologically (as Haruhi wanted).
But the second season was where KyoAni outdid themselves. It was an improvement on the first season. While the first season was great, the second was even better. Sometimes you see a series dip in quality in S2, but here it was the opposite - the quality improved. For the second season showed an uptick in the narrative. The first season had already pushed the limits of storytelling, but the second went further. While the first season was greatly enjoyable, the second was even more so. Perhaps the most ardent fans may try to quantify the quality, and say that it was, I don’t know, eight times better than the first.
