I relate to your discomfort. I usually unmatch or block such vibes bc the point of these apps is to date, which implies getting to know each other. If one is unwilling to put in the work (as minimal as it may seem), just spare folx who are interested in the above.
So much has changed in the dating scene. Sometimes, I am asked why I am being nosy or psychoanalyzing them. 🙄 Dude, you’re on a dating app, right?

I’m really disappointed in what happened to Reddit, but wow did Lemmy seem to step up! My daily procrastination and general time wastage barely saw a blip!
Right there next to ya, if anything I spend a bit more time on Lemmy, especially commenting. Feels considerably more cozy, and welcoming here then reddit has for the last few years.
Am also considerably happier, didnt realize just how much stuff on Reddit was there to try to egg you on and antagonize its users.
