Oh it’s impossible to find them even in central Italy, unfortunately that’s the sad part about local Italian products, they’re really good but if you don’t know a grandpa that can make them (and I fortunately do) or aren’t in the region(i was at the time) they’re basically unfindable if you don’t know the recipe, but you can always learn, it shouldn’t be hard. These kind of lots are fairly common in semi-rural areas in NA tbh. No incredible drama to it. They already have a house with nice lawn. But want to sell the farmland as they don’t want to farm. Sever out the house and garage, and you get weird shapes wedging into the farmland.
Peperoni cruschi, it’s a recipe from Basilicata so the word “cruschi” comes from there, and loosely means “croccanti” or crunchy. If we want to italianize it it would be peperoni croccanti
stick to low GI carbs perhaps, so it takes extra time to digest!
also, drink water right before a meal. turns out brain is pretty shit at distinguishing thirst and hunger… you also get “full” by drinking water so you end up eating a bit less heh.
