I have a dysfunctional baby. We took an 8 month old on a plane to Japan because of a family tragedy and she freaking got excited when we hit turbulence and when we landed. Five other babies lost their shit but my kids all giggling.
Actually, she also lost her shit in a literal way, Jesus fucking Christ the amount of poop that came out after the pressure change or someone. Ain’t nobody talks about that but all babies shit their pants at landing— pretty sure.
Active directory and it’s integration with services such as DNS and DHCP is pretty great though. I wish Microsoft started focusing less on cloud and improved the user (or rather admin) experience of their server tools, they are quite awful is some cases.
AD is the easiest in Windows. We can argue about DNS, but DHCP? You can’t even change the subnet size after the fact without destroying and remaking the scope.
And sometimes they make a new tool that’s better, kinda. And then they never bother updating it to make it good. Looking at you AD admin center.
GPedit is the most annoying tool ever. Why the hell can’t I just edit GPO settings values from the active settings menu, without having to open the entire GPO and navigate the huge mess of settings.
spoilerAdd spacing to bottom, save, then crop using any photo editing tool (some phones even have a default editor). DO NOT TELL ANYONE ELSE ABOUT THIS, THIS IS OUR LITTLE SECRET 😎
Ha, this is great. I checked his channel like “what does this guy even do, I hope he’s a voice actor or something” and I am now cracking up at all his content.
stick to low GI carbs perhaps, so it takes extra time to digest!
also, drink water right before a meal. turns out brain is pretty shit at distinguishing thirst and hunger… you also get “full” by drinking water so you end up eating a bit less heh.
ISO dates are the goat because they string compare correctly. Just yesterday I shaved 2 full seconds off a page transition by removing a date parse in the middle of a hot sorting loop. Everything should use ISO in my opinion.
Not sure what you are talking about? I did not (yet) pay the 20€ for the ad free version of sync. But I did donate more than double that amount to the lemmy devs. And if my instance would accept donations, I also would have donated there
It’s ripe for abuse though. DMs are federated traffic and are not cryptographically secured in any form. So in theory a bad actor instance admin could spawn unlimited accounts and login… Or just sniff incoming requests from whatever instance this traffic is spawned from and obtain the login code.
For something like this, probably fine… But I wouldn’t use it for anything else, nor would I trust any app that does use this system.
Gave instance, username on instance, and received inbox message on my lemmy instance. (also sniffed the message cause I was curious since I’m my instance admin)
one time I was writing some absolute banger code and wanted some pleasing smells. So I lit and candle and POOF fucking Belphegor suddenly appeared before me.
Isn’t Belphegor the king of sloth? That would actually be super relevant for developers.
Belphegor: “Hey guy, you’ve been spending all afternoon trying to implement this feature, but there’s a super niche framework that gets you 80% there. Here’s the github for it.”
Programmer: “Holy shit I was looking for something exactly like this, how did you find it!?”
