Me and my buddy are using different system now. I’m in PC and he’s in PS5. We were playing Genshin and it started to be very boring. Do you guys know any games that support crossplay, free or paid, that are good....

Can anyone recommend a good place to find assets for game development? Ideally marketplace files for Unreal Engine/Unity or 3d models/textures/etc. Thankyou.
Hey guys, sorry to be a bit nonnoncredible for a moment, but I’ve set up !credibledefense. Same rules as the reddit sub, with an emphasis on serious discussion of defense topics. I would really appreciate it if you subscribed! Especially if your home instance isn’t sh.itjust.works, we haven’t been indexed on .world or .ml...
Sometimes I feel like I’m part of the minority who actually enjoyed Enterprise. Sure, there were some stinkers but the world was incredibly interesting and in Series 3 / 4 I really felt like it scratched that Trek lore itch for me....
Granted, the warning says clearly “If you deselect Undetermined, you will not see most content”, which places the onus on the individual user, as apposed to logic built into Lemmy on which posts/comments can be viewed, while also leaving it to each user to have to weed out alternate languages for their views which are...
I’ve seen a lot of talks on the benefits of immutable distros (specifically Fedora Silverblue) but it always seemed to me as more of a hassle. Has anyone here been daily driving an immutable distro? Would you say it’s worth the effort of getting into?
Would be great if it was open source or something that have community’s approval.

I am looking for a distro that is based on Gentoo or is heavily inspired by it. I am a long-time Gentoo user and Debian on system where I don’t have the time to maintain it. I love the flexibility of Gentoo, but although my hardware keeps up, I find my self often not willing to wait hours for an update on my main machine. I am...

Due to having to expose local developments (in progress) publicly to interact with other third party services or to show them to other programmers I usually use ngrok in the free tier… Which is an absolute mess because it changes the URL on each command (nevertheless it works out of the box and very fast)…...
I’ve been getting toast messages telling me that webview renderer has crashed due to insufficient memory. I don’t know the exact wording as it is in German and only visible for a few seconds. I don’t know which app sends them but it is starting to get annoying. There are no noticeable issues apart from the messages...
I know a lot of development is happening in the space and this answer will likely change....
Does anyone know how I can become an uploader for pirated content? is there any type of money to be had if I wanted to do it full time?...
One I’ve tried is cucumber with tomato sauce. It didn’t taste so bad.
By “digital sheet music” I mean sheet music that can be opened in apps like musescore and synthesia (e.g. MIDI, musicxml). I used to download them from musescore.org but recently I found the search function stopped working. Is the site down or migrated to a new url? Now where can I download those digital sheet music?

I seem to be noticing a little bit of a trend lately that the out-of-box experience and overall quality of “mostly should just work” desktop-focused Linux distributions has declined. Usually, you could grab an .iso of distros like Ubuntu, Fedora, Manjaro etc, install it and have a decent enough platform out of the box to...
