A lot of deep genres are impossible to port to work with a controller. Sadly, this nowadays means that a lot of those games don’t see a lot of good entries.
Turn from AMC is really excellent if you’re into revolutionary war spy rings! Excellent writing and acting.
I would also second Andor, fantastic show. Peaky Blinders is another good one, though try not to binge it, I think it’d be much better if watched less avidly.
I use makemkv. Works every time. Once in a while you have to open the disk “manually” and select the right track but ya, makemkv does it all.
Free if you want to update the beta trial key every few months. After years of use I bought a lifetime license for like $20. Probably the best value I’ve ever gotten.
I just tried using this last night for the first time on some indie movie from the early 2000’s. Surely no type of hard DRM to crack.
But when I finished, the movie was very pixelated.
I converted DVD to ISO file and then the app converted the ISO to mkv file all using default settings. Is that okay or should I have changed some of the settings?
One thing that no-one tested is the overhead of all the sandbox, like, each module, lybrary of program run in a sandbox(some times they tweak the source code not need the sandbox) so I wanted to see the overhead of all of that
I don’t understand, if you run a program inside the sandbox and the program ask for a library, the kernel need to map the library from inside the sandbox to the program, that overhead that I’m talking about
If you need medical care, get fucking medical care. Seriously. It will get worse if you ignore it, whatever “it” happens to be.
Following the above, have at least one trusted advocate (partner, family member, friend, doesn’t matter) who can explain any chronic issues, typical medications, etc., and who can and will advocate on your behalf with medical professionals in e.g., a hospital setting as and when necessary.
I understand the pushback against names like this, and concern for kids receiving these names, but I think it is misdirected. Ya, sure, maybe sometimes the name is literally made up, or in other cases has multiple variations on a theme, but anyone with immigration in their ancestry can tell you that naming conventions do not always move well to other countries. In the USA, we have multiple spellings for names like Muhammed and Dermitt because of this. I don't see why this is a big deal and think it potentially enriches culture.
