[question] Switching rgb range at monitor plugin
I have a projector that needs limited rgb range, but for some reason (maybe a faulty hdmi-vga dongle) the intel driver selects full range. I want to force the limited rgb range when I plug the projector, but I need it set to auto normally, because my usual monitor needs full range....

Specifically torrentbytes on Linux. On Linux mint I can download from other sites no problem but if I click a torrentbytes link, it sits there with no seeders forever. [SOLVED]Touchpad completely messed up, smooth scrolls everywhere, and isn't blocked when using keyboard
Hi, I use linux mint and recently installed a bunch of desktop environments, and I think that it might have caused this issue. How do I fix this? I want to avoid resetting, but if there isn’t a solution, I can. This does not occur in another distro, or another kernel, but occurs in other desktop environments. Solution:...

Could you compress text files by mapping a word to how commonly it is used and translating it with an application?
It’s a bit of a weird shower thought but basically I was wondering hypothetical if it would be possible to take data from a social media site like Reddit and map the most commonly used words starting at 1 and use a separate application to translate it back and forth....

To all the people who've given those few downvotes everywhere (no shame), what's the deal?
So many posts and comments end up with just a few downvotes, compared at least to the number of upvotes. The only time downvotes get relatively large is when there’s a contentious issue or outright bad behaviour. Otherwise, there’s very often just a few downvotes....

Hey, beautiful people of Linux, I need some advice. I’ve been tinkering for the past several weeks on flavours of Plasma DE on Arch and Tumbleweed on my Nvidia/Alder Lake setup.
