My instance doesn’t really have enough traffic to browse locally anyway, so I mostly see my subs to start with. If I was going to block something here it would be the endless bunnyposting. Even the Oklahoma stuff is mildly interesting in the volume it comes through.

I’ve blocked one page that’s posting mostly in Russian, one page that’s posting mostly in Croatian, and beyond that a number of overrepresented, locally US centric ones. About stuff like the NFL or the Bay Area.

People use Facebook for Messenger. Others got used to group chat via this app.

I had to create a random account after years to be be updated with uni group chat news. Otherwise I would feel like an outcast.

Pixelfed, but rarely use it for the same reason.

I’ll use Facebook marketplace to sell shit. I have an account on pretty much everything but I don’t use it anymore unless someone sends me a link to something.

I haven’t had a Facebook since like 2017. The only thing from Meta I use is an anonymous Instagram page I use to follow a few different famous people/bands, but I never post anything there. It keeps trying to get me join Threads lol
