Endeavouros is pretty new user friendly and from what I’ve seen they’ve got a bunch of distro cheat sheets for new users, be it to the distro, arch based distro’s or linux altogether. Out of all the arch based communities I’ve seen, most of which just respond with “RTFM”, the endeavouros community has been very supportive of new users trying to learn on their OS.
I think most people recommend arch as an ‘initial distro’ because after the annoying learning curve involved in the initial few weeks, you can basically use any distro with ease
Do you just need an adblock extension on chrome? Should be an easy fix. Or the O&O shutup program may work as well, have used that in the past effectively.
I use Chrome on Windows and have never seen this, or at least, not for years so hard to know where the setting is to disable exactly.
Lol @ the responses saying to switch OS. Such extreme views.
As an American, I just cannot eat Marmite. But we have suspected we simply do not know how to use it? For example, it would likely flavor a stew nicely? But there is no way I am eating that straight on bread. Nope!
Not even going to try black pudding or that jelly made from eels…
My cousin did something like that, he had to move so he bought a lot, built a garage with a second floor, he had his kitchen/livingroom on the ground level. That gave him a place to live in right next to the house he was building. Once the house was finished he moved his stuff and now has a sweet heated garage with loads of storage space on the second floor.
In his case he had to build a temporary wall inside to enclose the garage door because of winters.
