The in-person order taking is a much worse experience for the customer. Let me look at the damn menu board. It should not take any more time to prepare a meal than it takes for a car to progress from the order board to the window. I don’t see how them getting the order earlier (presumably the purpose of this) is helping in any way.

If you want chick fil a and value your time, the in store pickup is a much more efficient.

The Liberian-flagged, Netherlands-operated chemical tanker

Sounds like a cascade of loopholes to avoid safety regulations and get away with slave wages. I’m sure if Japanese companies sailed their ships under their own country’s flag they would get accidentally attacked 100% less.

I'm locked out of my 6 year old Chipotle account because they now say my email address is invalid when I login. Here is me asking for their help: (lemmy.world)

I also reached out to them on Twitter but they directed me to this form. I followed up with them on Twitter with what happened in this screenshot but they are now ignoring me.

Chipotle’s customer service sucks ass even after you get a person. Good food though.

Yep. I watch more YouTube than TV. Once you get a curated list of channels set up, YouTube is great. And I don’t like ads.

(Controversial) Should lemmy.world close registrations at a certain user count?

To support decentralization and spread, should lemmy.world close registration at some point to prevent a performance overload due to too many users? Of course, if registration is disabled, there could be a hint placed somewhere near that from other instances you can interact with content on lemmy.world just like you had...
