It isn’t. Adding someone is always digging through people with the same name and searching for “that one with glasses on profile picture”. There are some codes to scan, but they are Facebook’s custom format incompatible with QR code scanners and inconvinient to use.

Because we have standards for at least 20 years for messaging I think we can’t say that networking effect is upside of some app, but rather the fact that everyone must use the same app is a downside.

The only and I say the only good thing I can say about Facebook Messenger is… umm…

Can somebody name at least one thing? Really, this app is shit but we must find one at least.

Why still use Facebook when we have the Internet?

Download page of LineageOS 🙈.

smileyhead , to internetfuneral in convenience

I still buy DVDs and am happy. Cheap and super easy to play or archive due to ripping software being legal in my country.

The only way to buy big movies these days.

I know GUIs are important for being mainstream, but I also don’t see the point of getting whole team of UI/UX designers to work on graphical settings option to change simple intiger value of system config.

Changing audio bitrate is an option for advanced users. I open new tab in my text editor, fuzzy search the file and desired option in seconds and save, when in something like control panel is whole journey interrupting current workflow.

Free office suite, backup tool, file transfer tool…

A reason why you should never give Internet access to those shitty cameras.

smileyhead , to technology in Websites for file transfer without downloading additional software or apps

All four examples requires web browser to download additional software in a form of scripts bundled into the website. And three of them all propietary apps, so it’s better to refure their use.

Don’t really know why they build them this way, browsers can send and recieve files without it via POST and GET methods, why requiering additional JavaScript?
