Thanks! Yeah it’s so interesting isn’t it? I love these kind of stories too haha. I first heard about the story from a friend, but did went on to look for more information and compiled the information I could find, and came up with this post.

But the taste is not actually the same or even similar. But the main ingredients and way of preparing have a lot of similarities, hence the inferred influence.

But this part is actually the hardest to establish in the whole story, we could only infer the influence from the historical interactions.

And mohinga is really good in its own too!

I believe she was scheduled to visit more ports in Malaysia, but had to cut short her visit because the ship had to undergo some repairs. But I’m sure she’ll be back (or her sister ship the Logos Hope), hopefully will get a chance to visit then!

Sorry to hear about your week, hope you’re holding up. Though talking about it with someone might be helpful indeed. Would however suggest that you might want to see a therapist/counsellor instead of a psychiatrist (unless you have been seeing one, or are looking for medical help), as they might be more suited to what you may need in dealing with the stress and difficult experiences.
