A willingness to occasionally get goofy is honestly part of what makes Star Trek Star Trek imo. The lack of willingness to do that was actually something that kind of always bugged me about Disco. And this was definitely a fun as hell episode, especially the klingon boy band bit.

I mean, it could also well be just malicious incompetence covering, well…the regular kind of incompetence. If it turns out multiple cops were in and out of there during that time and all but tripped over a dead guy, that’s not exactly a great look either.

It’s plausible someone dumped him there thinking it was just an abandoned house and not realizing it was as active a location as it was. Or that the poor guy was ODing or something and his ‘friend’ tried to drop him back at his grandma’s, then panicked and dumped him at the first secluded spot he saw when he realized he was dead. By the sounds of it, the wounds on his arms are the only visible wounds on the body (and it was just the random construction worker who found the guy that called them ‘defensive wounds’).

I mean you’re entitled to your opinion but surely this whole thread is evidence to the fact that people also enjoy Halloween. Halloween extending earlier doesn’t really affect anything, there’s not much in the way of holidays in September or hell, even August. Nobody is gonna claim pumpkins and candy are ruining Labor Day. Whereas beyond a certain point, Christmas starts to steamroll other holidays like some sort of tinsel covered Akira. I don’t think it’s unfair to want to enjoy Halloween on it’s own without being inundated with Mariah Carey.

Also we gotta put the line somewhere before it just invades the whole bloody year. You’ve got most of two freaking months already.
