I understand. Indeed there are people with which it is easier for me to enjoy interacting and for longer. But even then, I can only sustain that for a few hours. Then I need to retreat to my solitude to process information, let my brain work through, and recharge. As I grew older, most of the masks went away as I got more comfortable with myself and understood why I feel and do the things I do. Plus, in the past 4 to 6 years, being an American, I lost basically all the f***ks I had to give. Unfortunately, lately it has been "I understand this may sound rude to you and may make you feel discomfort, but frankly I do not give a damn."
