Can you elaborate? All my friends in academia have told me that the administration is sympathetic but afraid to make public statements, since they don’t want to scare off conservative students. That’s a far cry from wanting to purge the gays

An arms embargo restricts weapons sales and the like. Sanctions are designed to harm civilians. Suffering is the point. The (typically incorrect) idea is that suffering people will force political change. But again, that has rarely happened. People just end up suffering.

I think you bring up a good point (or maybe I just read into it). A lot of what I learned about the Civil Rights Movement was about how it mostly happened in the south. Nobody explicitly said “that’s where all the racists are,” but it felt like that. Now, I grew up in one of the most diverse schools in the country, so much so that we had a POTUS at one of our high school graduations because they felt we were such a great example. The problems of racism always felt so far away to me.

Who else wakes up and has to blow their nose or clear their airways every morning and why?

I’m guessing it’s from dry air god me but even with humidifier I always have to blow my nose a bunch of times in the morning. Sometimes my lungs feel tight for a while after waking up. This happen to anybody else? Why does it happen for you?

If your body produces too much histamine in response to cotton or something else super common like dust mites, you aren’t going to remove all of that stuff from your environment
