Nice, so there is a quick user fix available. I understand it’s low priority. I mistakingly got the impression that it wasn’t being worked on because it doesn’t actually affect thing.

Just for perspective though, it is confusing for inexperienced users (me at least) who are already confused by Federation and all that stuff. I wasn’t sure if I signed up with a blocked community or wasn’t meeting a subscription criteria.

Is there any way to fix it? Leaving in functional glitches and clear lack of polish doesn’t seem like a great idea.
