I just started a few days ago and already had to deal with a transphobic troll.

This is why a lot of trans people are on Hexbear, which aggressively polices such behavior and defederates from instances that don’t sufficiently moderate it.

AFAIK there is no “automod,” aside from the “Removed” one that censors certain words/strings. Yours was removed by a mod for breaking “Rule 1.”

Still conflating anti-Zionism with antisemitism, I see. First of all, anti-Zionist Jews and non-Zoinist Jews exist.

There is no fediverse instance more queer-friendly and than Hexbear; what are you even talking about?

Apparently Ricardo Quintela is of the Justicialist Party, and that party apparently wasn’t really leftist but took a leftward turn about twenty years ago. I’m curious whether it’s become radically left enough to pull a dual power move like this.

I didn’t realize that the Non-Aligned Movement still exists as a formal entity, given that the Eastern bloc collapsed a generation ago. Interestingly, some of the former Eastern bloc states have since joined it.

Liberals just can’t fathom the possibility that socialists walk among us, therefore they must be cryptofascists or paid shills of foreign States.

I assure you that we have been here all along, despite two red scares and a cold war to try to purge us.

It’s pretty insulting, considering that American socialists helped bring about the weekend and the eight hour workday.

You are going on the assumption that Cook is only talking about this one Guardian article, when what he is doing is using that article as the jumping off point to address the entirety of the Israeli State & corporate media narrative about these rapes.

Jonathan Cook is no idle media critic; he is an expert in this field.

Jonathan Cook is a British writer and a freelance journalist formerly based in Nazareth, Israel, who writes about the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.

One comm for state propaganda and the corporate media that repeat it, and separate, partitioned free speech zone comm for any criticism thereof?

In the second gulf war, when the State and the corporate media pushed the weapons of mass destruction narrative—which also didn’t pass the sniff test—would you have wanted any push-back on that narrative kept out of the conversation?

Stephen Colbert at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner

But, listen, let’s review the rules. Here’s how it works. The President makes decisions. He’s the decider. The press secretary announces those decisions, and you people of the press type those decisions down. Make, announce, type. Just put 'em through a spell check and go home. Get to know your family again. Make love to your wife. Write that novel you got kicking around in your head. You know, the one about the intrepid Washington reporter with the courage to stand up to the administration? You know, fiction!

Israel is America’s unsinkable aircraft carrier in West Asia.
As Genocide Joe has said for decades, “Were there not an Israel, the United States of America would have to invent an Israel to protect her interest in the region.
