Don’t forget car companies and oil lobby will fight it really hard so we can keep burning our planet

bikesarethefuture ,

You can now use the jetpack like crazy in starfield

bikesarethefuture ,

How would you solve that paradox. You can always procedurally generate the encounters, buildings, dialogs to make it more interesting. Look at Minecraft or dwarf fortress. They have done a pretty good job in that sense I think

bikesarethefuture ,

Yes that would help. Also we need to fly across the planets. Really missing that

bikesarethefuture , (edited )

Yes! You have decky loader with a plug in called Steam Grid DB which updates the art for these games really easy

bikesarethefuture ,

You can still install decky loader it on desktop

bikesarethefuture ,

I had to install a Virtual machine for playnite but now I’m gaming complete on Linux! Also remember you can have xbox gamepass on the browser

bikesarethefuture ,

I did the same and moved to kubuntu. You can play Xbox game on the cloud really good on Linux. And you have heroic games launcher for the main non steam launchers. I game and work in Linux and couldn’t be happier honestly, ask me anything you want

bikesarethefuture ,

Kubuntu is like an enhanced windows. You can make it with exactly in the same way, and even add loads of customisation. I have scripts that set up my work environment, or game environment in terms of screens. Ubuntu is really nice too, but I found kde Ubuntu was easier to tweak

Tell me a software you use usually, and I’ll tell you the Linux equivalent

Microsoft starts to improve VS code for Unity good news for Unity 3D on Linux (devblogs.microsoft.com)

This has happened after leaving VS code almost unusable for some years since debugging wasn’t working on Unity 3D. I was able to use an old version of VS code omnisharp that would allow me to debug Unity on my Linux desktop. Do you think there is some EEE agenda in this decision? Or this is good news?

bikesarethefuture OP ,

There is a version of omnisharp Vs code extension C#, 1.23.16 that would allow you to debug took me a while to find out. But now there is no need for that even

bikesarethefuture OP ,

I love Godot, but migrating a project made many years ago it is tricky. Got your point though. Godot is only gonna grow from now on exponentially

bikesarethefuture ,

Since steam deck came out, I switch to Linux desktop for gaming and it is going really good. Can play my whole library

bikesarethefuture ,

That’s why games like dwarf fortress, project zomboid, are more about taking proper decisions
