Label drawers or cabinets so you can find things. Label devices with key info (like the name for networking a computer or printer). Label what switches do. Label tools with their home (e.g. scissors with a sticker that says Rm 123 if that's where they need to get back to). Label the baggies of spare parts or connectors or whatever that somehow accumulate when you get new equipment.

@guyjantic @kdnyhan @academicchatter I am allowed to require students to wear certain types of attire in chemistry lab, for their safety, but I am forbidden to require masks, even though it’s also for their (and my) safety
