I think you misunderstand. They didn’t bring games that were exclusive to consoles, to PC. They took the idea of exclusives to PC app markets. I.E. paying game studios for exclusive rights to distribute on PC. It’s anti competitive and a completely artificial limitation, since obviously, for PC games, the hardware is the same regardless of Steam or Epic app stores. And that violates a long standing core value for many PC gamers as an entirely open market.

That was the only truly abysmal early access experience I’ve had. I randomly heard about it, and picked it up in “bedrock beta”. Nothing worked. At all. It should have been pre-alpha internal testing only at that point, but they were selling early access.

Never went back to give it another shot. Maybe it evolved into a decent game, but it left a very bad taste in my mouth to advertise early access on a not even working proof of concept level of work.

I think their point was, the US supports Isreal and Ukraine, but Ukraines support was conditional on them waging a humane war in self defense, but Isreal has no such restrictions, and the US has been incredibly slow to question them.

Edit - NM, re-read. It’s simpler than that. Ukraine defending itself - good. Hamas defending itself (from a US ally) - bad.

It does kind of stretch “defending themselves” a bit far if it lumps the initial attack. Like, I get how you could somewhat justify it by saying it was the result of decades of apartheid oppression, but targeting innocents isn’t exactly a great way go about that, and why most instantly rallied behind Ukraine after Russia started their war by indiscriminately targeting civilians as well.

As far as reputable, I would say apnews, Reuters, politico, CNN, BBC off the top of my head.

I know CNN will be contested. They have an annoying amount of opinion in their stories, but I do find that they clearly separate what’s objective fact and what’s editorial opinion.

I’ll say that the real estate agent business isn’t exactly like a normal job. You work for hours, then the client can pull out etc, and you get nothing. Particularly on the buying side when potential buyers can just give up.

But in today’s market, those standards percentages are fucking massive because of housing inflation.

So, it’s definitely broken right now. But it’s also a volatile profession that is subject to high highs and low lows.

That’s how the scientific community works. Test and retest the theory. Unexciting results are still valuable to lend more credence to the established scientific understanding.

Also, more practically, recent studies are good ammo for disputes with nutter friends and family who still form their entire distrust on an article based on an intentionally bad take on a studys results from early on in the pandemic.

In my experience, going to the more conservative, blue collar neighborhoods was the most reliable on availability. But that’s when there was a huge demand on the first and second round of shots, and pharmacies were taking as many vials as they could
